Dear Rev. Sharpton, I am writing for my nephew, Tarik C. Nunn, who has been in Orange County jail since Feb. 22, 2008 . He was arrested at gun point for the attack of his mother-in-law. Tarik is African-American and his mother-in-law is white. He has gotten bail set at various amounts before pre-trials but nothing has been resolved. His five children were ordered to get out of their home at gun point by the Laguna Police Dept. --all under the age of 17 just for them to search the house. His mother-in-law has not come to any pre-trails and she refuses to talk to the authorities. She is causing stress on him, his mom and his children. Although he is innocent, the prosecuting attorney is trying to get him 15 to life. We really need you to investigate this case. We have used all finances available and he is being represented by a public deffender. Please call his mom, Edna Nunn, at 949-645-2889 to get more information. His pre-trail is Nov. 6th.
